These are models of a lifeboat similar to the George Evans, the Cemaes lifeboat 1887-1905.

 
   

 

A model in our collection of the Ruby Arthur Reed.

A model of a 1930's diesel powered pilot vessel, typical of boats operating around the coast of the British Isles.

   

This model has been made from a turkey breast bone by Peter Williams of Amlwch Port. This skill was passed down to him by his grandfather, John Williams, who sailed both deep sea and coastal waters in the days of sail.
